Our Domestic Hardwoods
Our domestic hardwood and softwood selection offers durable, beautiful materials ideal for cabinetry, furniture, fine wood working and more. As with our domestic soft woods, our hardwood supply is readily available. Hardwoods however, often come in “random” widths and/or lengths and are generally rough cut, requiring milling to make them finished. Additionally, many of the hardwoods are more difficult to get in wide boards, but our ability to do glue-ups generally negates this issue. Vertical grain, Rift or quarter sawn items are more elusive. If your project calls for a special milling, please let us know in advance and we will check availability.

- Oak – Red and White, Quarter and Rift Sawn when available

- KDAT – Kiln Dried, After Treatment Pine C & Better**

KDAT is a pressure treated pine that is kiln-dried after the pressure treating. It holds up well to the weather and can be painted or stained immediately. The boards start off in standard lumber sizes but due to the kiln-drying the final dimensions are slightly smaller than standard actual sized boards.
